About the Healy Center



The Healy Center's mission is "To engage students and faculty in conducting applied research projects that promote sustainable economic development in southeastern Colorado. The Healy Center fulfills this mission through different projects throughout the community.

SoCo Entrepreneurship Competition

The SoCo Competition is southern Colorado's largest entrepreneurship event. Students and adults compete for chances to win scholarships and venture capital.

An analytical report that reveals indicators on jobs, income, housing, education, and other economic measures in the community. The community is invited to attend and check out the newest data.

The Healy Center is participating with the Sangro de Cristo Arts Center to conduct an economic consulting anaylsis on various aspects of impact, traffic, and growth for the facility.

The Healy Center team is known as the Healy Fellows. The Healy Fellows range in different talents and specific job functions, but all contribute towards striving to fulfill the Healy Center's mission of sustaining economic growth in the region.
